Monday: Review the legislative branch of Georgia government Download Legislative Branch Powerpoint pdf
Homework: Read "How A Bill Becomes a Law" on p. 541.
Tuesday: Review the process of how a bill becomes a law. Students will create comic strips designed to teach 5th grade students about the process. Students will have time in class to complete the comic strips Wednesday.
Wednesday: Finish comic strips and turn in. Homework Read about the County Unit system on pages 349 - 350 and pages 433 and 434 in the text.
Thursday: Review the county unit system and funding Georgia's government.
Friday: November calendar quiz. Students will receive December calendar Download December Calendar and a study guide for the test on Georgia's legislative branch. TEST MONDAY!
