AC students should bring their completed articles, propaganda pieces, and/or comic strips for the colonial newspaper project to class tomorrow.
Activities For the Week:
1st, 2nd, & 3rd Hour Classes:
Monday: Read pages 149 - 152 and create Frayer diagrams for Provincial Congress and Liberty Boys.
Tuesday: Notes on Georgia and the Revolution Download Revolution Summary Students will also complete a graphic organizer of the acts and taxes that lead to the Revolution. Homework: Read pages 153 - 157
Wednesday: Finish notes on Georgia and the Revolution. Students will create "sensory figures" for the 3 Georgians who signed the Declaration of Independence.
Thursday: We will work on a study guide to summarize the chapter. Homework: Complete the right side of the chapter 5 anticipation guide. Download CHAPTER 5 ANTICIPATION GUIDE
Friday: Review study guide and anticipation guide. Homework: Create an index card of review information. Chapter 5 test Monday!

4th Hour:
Monday: Assemble colonial newspapers Download COLONIAL NEWSPAPER PROJECT after the benchmark test. Remember you may email them to oreilly.ka@gmail.com by 9:00 pm tonight if you do not have access to a printer. Students will receive a Learning Journal Monday. Completed journals will be turned in Friday.
Tuesday: Students will conduct a "gallery walk" examining the completed colonial newspapers and work on journals.
Wednesday and Thursday: Students will "jigsaw" pages 143 - 165 in the text and become experts on the events leading to the Revolution and Georgia's role. Homework: Complete right side of chapter 5 anticipation guide. Download CHAPTER 5 ANTICIPATION GUIDE
Friday: Study guide. Homework: Study for chapter 5 test.
